about

"Despite the fact that I devote most of my time to thinking and writing about sound and musical culture, it is very difficult for me to say something about my album because I did not want to attach external, discursive meanings to it. The title of the album is a random phrase taken from a very famous novel about the politics of memory, as well as those bizarre outlines that it can take. Perhaps memory is the key to understanding why this is done. This album is a meditation on temporality, past and future, irrevocably lost and acquired, as well as chimaeras produced by our own minds." -E.B.
